I was born in Atlanta, Georgia and was raised 20 or so miles east of there in what used to be a small town. I am the youngest of four boys, with 8 years between my oldest brother and myself. As you can imagine, there are lots of stories to tell. Only those who were there will know what’s real and what’s just plain made up.
Being the son of a World Book Encyclopedia sales-mother, reading material was always available and I became a reader. The library was a place l regularly visited. Fiction was my friend. It only makes sense that later in life I would take a stab at some sort of writing.
In addition to Georgia, I have lived in Arizona and now call Tennessee home.
I have been married to my wife for over half my life and she believes in my writing more than I do. We have two adult children, one daughter-in-law, one granddaughter and one grandson .
Things I like: reading, writing, movies (basically anything with a good story involved). I love Mexican food and my favorite smell is honeysuckle in full bloom. I love music of all kinds and even though you can’t hear it (or maybe you can), it is playing behind everything I write.
Thanks for dropping by.
